I am continually adding new recipes to my site, but they aren’t easy to find among the many pages of information that I’ve posted on the site.  You can search using the post categories but some of the categories produce a lot of results.  You can also use the search tool in the sidebar and can browse through the List of Contents which lists and links to every post on the site but this list is very long!  To help I’ve split the recipes into the categories shown below and clicking on the link will take you to a post listing all the relevant recipes.  Some recipes do appear more than once as they fit into more than one category.

    Hi Amber,
Starting now, and reading a lot from you.
We’re still amazed how kind, patient, yet informative even with the most odd questions (“odd” for a better term).

So, this is just a token of our appreciation.

    • Amber on January 30, 2017

      Hi Vander and Adriana

Thank you so much for your kind words. It makes me feel very happy.

      Best wishes

    Hi Amber

    Are anchovy fillets allowed?

    • Amber on January 4, 2017

      Hi Kate

      Fish in oil isn’t allowed.

  • Adrian on December 24, 2016

    Hi Amber,
I have a couple of questions that I am hoping you can help me answer. I bought, from the Dr. Dukan site, his coconut biscuits. The box says 3 biscuits for the cruise phase, the site says 2. Would you happen to know the correct information? Also, I am sure it’s made from oat bran. Would you happen to know the ammount it contains to be deducted from the daily oat bran portion? Lastly, would these biscuits be considered a tolerated item? As always, thank you for all your help and support!

    • Amber on December 26, 2016

      Hi Adrian

I’d go with the site rather than the box and have just two. As it doesn’t advise you to count it as part of your daily serving of oat bran I’d advise you to have the cookies as your tolerated items and also eat a full daily serving of oat bran.

      Best wishes

    Hi Amber,

So i am on my attack phase right now, kinda suffering but i am liking results. So what if one day you fall off the diet plan, can you continue the next day or you need to redo the attack phase all over again?

    • Amber on December 12, 2016

      Hi Jennifer

The Attack Phase is too restrictive to repeat you just carry on as if nothing had happened should you slip up.

      Best wishes

Is there any kind of vegetable soup that is allowed on Cruise? Have looked for one without potatoes, low sodium, etc.

  • Lori Checkum on June 15, 2015

Are sunflower seeds acceptable in the attack phase? I bought the ones that are de-shelled. Thanks.

    • Amber on June 16, 2015

      Hi Lori

Poppy seeds and sesame seeds are allowed in very limited quantities in Cruise as tolerated items but other than that no seeds are allowed.

      Kind regards

  • Mary-Bob on May 8, 2015

    Hi Amber,
    1) can i have chicken sausages available in indian market in all phases
    2) can i have chappati/rotti (called in india) allowed if i make it with wheat bran and oat bran

    • Amber on January 17, 2015

      Hi Amy

It is difficult to say whether the chicken sausages would be OK to eat without having some idea of the ingredients used to make them. If they only contain chicken meat they would be fine but if they have starchy fillers that bulk out the sausage these would contain carbs they would not be suitable.

If you don’t use any other ingredients that aren’t allowed you can use this will be fine but make sure that you don’t exceed the daily amounts of oat and wheat bran when eating.

      Best wishes

      • amy on January 17, 2015

        thank u amber.
chicken sausages are made up of chicken skin and mostly breast pieces..

Amber plz tell me are pulses (indian market) allowed in consolidation phase.
        1) in india there is very famous dish kown as ” kadhi pakora”(made up of curd , spices , onion n oil ).do u know anything about it as i like it very much and didnt had it since so long. so can i take in my consolidation phase.

2)many pulses are there in market plz tell me abt dat.

3)and can i have 2medium sized chappati/roti (made up of whole wheat) instead of 2 whole grain bread.

        • Amber on January 17, 2015

          Hi Amy

Chicken skin is very high in fat so I’d try to keep these and “kadhi pakora” for your celebration meals. I see no reason not to substitute chapati/roti for the bread.

Pulses are lentils and beans and here is a link to some photographs with Indian names http://indianfood.about.com/od/thebasics/ig/Photo-Gallery-of-Indian-Daals/ and they are allowed to be used as a serving of starchy food in Consolidation.

          Best wishes

            thank u sooo much Amber.

  • Amy on January 3, 2015

Hi Amber. Today i want to confess something for which im bit worried too.
Im following dukan diet since 20th aug.2014 n abt to reach my target , till ne lost 18kgs n im 5feet 4inches tall. Im on cruise phase. Awesome experience till nw touch wood.
As i have mentioned earlier in my post im out of station for 18daus vacations with family. In India only but southern region. So it is very difficult to find proper food which i need. Till nw i did lil bit cheating and i monitored my wait it is still even i have bot gained. But yesterday i did a big cheating i ate kerela’s famous food and i ate properly for which im worried nw. And it was my PP day when i did dis.
I ate white rise and in small quantities dishes.
Plz tell me Amber what to do should i go back to attack phase now or follow cruise phase only.
    Plz amber reply me urgently…
One more thing, on that day i skipped the dinner i just ate oat bran and wheat bran n slept.
Is it ohk to take oat bran n wheat bran with water (as im not getting skimmed milk curd here, at home i used to take with one bowl of skimmed milk home made curd but here it is not possible).
Is it ohk to take oat bran with water?
And is fresh Coconut water and its fresh pulp is allowed????

    • Amber on January 4, 2015

      Hi Amy

During the holiday period it can be very difficult to stick to the Dukan Diet and as you are in an area where you can’t find many suitable foods it is even harder. Don’t worry about this, just do the best you can and then when you are back home resume the Cruise phase. And yes it is OK to have oat bran and wheat bran in water but coconut flesh or water/milk isn’t allowed.

      Best wishes

      • Amy on January 5, 2015

Can I drink twinnings liquorice tea on the attack phase. Is it class as herbal?

    • Amber on November 13, 2014

      Hi Vicky

It only has 4 calories per serving so I would treat it as a herbal tea.

      Best wishes

  • Sal on October 17, 2014

Hi Amber….I am on my 4th day of Attack phase….had to bake with apples from the garden for some friends…..I am not that secure with my baking so I licked abit of the batter to make sure it was fine….my question…do I have to start all over again on the attack phase…I was only going on it for the 4 days and then going onto cruise….will this lick jeopardize my work so far….Thank you…Sal

    • Amber on October 22, 2014

  • julie on September 30, 2014

what exact oat bran is acceptable? oat bran cereal? i’m looking for a list of exact brands- thanks

  • BonBon on September 15, 2014

I am on day 1 of attack phase. I have veggie burgers (kirklands) as my main protein. I see that the ingredients of the veggie burger consist of brown rice. Is this a bad option?

  • Liz on September 14, 2014

    Hi Amber
Where can I get Dukan friendly egg custard recipe that I can have on the attack phase ?
    Many thanks

  • Sash on August 28, 2014

I am right in the middle of my cruise phase – I lost 3kgs on attack, and a further 2 so far on cruise … I would like to lose another 3 and so will probably be on cruise for 3 weeks. I am starting to get a little bored with the PP options. How do you suggest I ‘mix it up’?
Also, what do you think about protein shakes? I have read that they are particularly effective when made straight after a work out.

    Thank you!

  • Lyn on July 20, 2014

Hi I am a celiac and cannot have oatbran is there a substitute, thanks

    • Amber on July 21, 2014

      Hi Lyn

There is no substitute but many people add fiber to their diet by using psyllium husks.

      Kind regards

  • Marie on May 27, 2014

can I have some organic goats cheese on the cruise phase of the diet

    • Amber on May 27, 2014

      Hi Marie

Goat cheese/milk are not in the list of allowed foods so should not be added until you reach Consolidation when you could have some in your celebration meals.

      Best wishes

  • Kay Tyler on May 23, 2014

Hi can you have a fat free jelly with 1g of carbs

    • Amber on May 24, 2014

      Hi Kay

The sugar free jellies do have some small amount of carbs. The one I use which is Hartley’s has .3 g of carbs per serving. This is slightly higher but shouldn’t be a problem.

      Kind regards

  • Kay Tyler on May 22, 2014

Hi amber, it states in the book not to use any oils at all, but in the recipe for scrambled eggs to put a little oil in pan?

  • Liv on April 30, 2014

Please can you explain the diet in a simple way I am really confused.. I really want too start this next week xx

    • Amber on April 30, 2014

      Hi Liv

I’m sorry but there isn’t a simple way to explain the diet. You need to either buy one of the books or do a lot of reading on the Internet to put all the various pieces of the diet together. If you read the posts I’ve put onto the site you would have a good idea of how the diet works and then if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.

      Kind regards
