Dukan Diet Recipes


Every day you have to decide what you are going to eat and if you are looking for Dukan Diet recipes, it is likely that some (but hopefully not all!) of your choices before starting the Dukan Diet may not have been as good for your health and figures as they should have been.

The great thing about the Dukan Diet is that it isn’t just a diet plan that you use to lose weight.  If you follow it properly, it will provide you with the knowledge and information that will help you to lose those excess pounds and stay slim for good. Finding tasty Dukan Diet recipes that you enjoy eating will be vital to your success and you can find recipes for all phases of the diet including Dukan Diet Attack Phases recipes in many different places.  There are recipes which you can buy or those, like the ones I provide, which are free.

I am continually adding new recipes to my site, but they aren’t easy to find among the many pages of information that I’ve posted on the site.  You can search using the post categories but some of the categories produce a lot of results.  You can also use the search tool in the sidebar and can browse through the List of Contents which lists and links to every post on the site but this list is very long!  To help I’ve split the recipes into the categories shown below and clicking on the link will take you to a post listing all the relevant recipes.  Some recipes do appear more than once as they fit into more than one category.

You can find free Dukan Diet recipes on Dr Dukan’s official websites and Facebook pages, for example the UK website has a link to one of Dr Dukan Diet recipes and this recipe is changed regularly.  There are also many blogs or other Dukan Diet sites very similar to mine that provide free recipes and other resources which can be easily found by carrying out a search in Google.

The most obvious source from which to obtain Dukan Diet recipes would be to buy one or more of the official Dukan Diet books, written by Pierre Dukan for followers of his diet.  In the US there are these official books:

    Hi Amber
    I’m vegetarian for two days in a week, could you please let me know what will be a good source of protein for these two days during the Attack Phase? I was wondering can I have some chickpeas or baked beans instead of meat foe two days? I would really like to start this but unsure of what can i substitue for meat.

          You could do a short Attack Phase to drop a little weight but it is really exercise that you need to do to tone up.

      I’m sorry but will need a little more information to try to help. What are you eating and drinking on a typical PP day? Have you stopped losing weight or have you not lost any weight for 2.5 weeks? Are you constipated or suffering from water retention? What weight did you start at and what is your target weight? How long did you stay on Attack and how much weight did you lose in this phase?

      Hi Amber. The most waight I lost was on the first phrase 7lbs for 5 days. On cruise phrase I lost around 5lbs for 2.5 weeks. My started weight was 175 . My target weight is 140. I drink two coffee a day with little fat free coffee creamer. I order dr dukan cocoanut cookies so I eat two a day. Thanks

    Thank you for all this amazing information you’ve put together!
    I’ve lost 9kg so far and another 9 to go! This really works for me, thou as a vegetarian at 1st i struggled to eat meat again (didn’t find enough information on the vegetarian version and i had to loose weight quick for my mental wellbeing….).
    I walk, march, every morning 35min thru rain and crazy winds if be so.
    The only problem i have for xmas is that we’re coming into mango and cherry season and i wont be able to eat them 🙁

    to my question! I need good and simple recipes for tofu for PPs, i have one in the book and it has tandooripowder, but cannot find it anywhere. I’ve usually fired it and then dipped it in various different herby yogurt dips..Not a big friend of soy products, but needed some ease to meat eating 😀

    and was stevia allowed as a sweetener? im not too keen on artificial stuff… or munk fruit sugar? i read somewhere its actually not fruit sugar.

You can also use plain Quorn in lots of different dishes to reduce your meat consumption. Eggs and fish can also help. You might also like the Shiratki noodles if you can get them where you live.

      Both Stevia and Monk Fruit Sweetener have zero calories so would be fine to use.

    I baugth the book yesterday and couldn’t stop reading. I’m very excited to start the diet. I’m just thinking that just before Christmas is maybe not such a good idea to start this new diet? I will propably be on the second diet by the time Christmas is here? If one does relaps for one day, do you just go on the next day or maybe do a proteine day again?

      It is certainly difficult sticking to any diet around Christmas so waiting until after Christmas might be best. If you lapse you just carry on as if nothing had happened.

      You can eat unlimited amounts of turkey bacon so just have what feels to be a normal serving.

    I’m on Day 4 of attack. I have been eating a lot of jelly which I make myself from grassfed beef gelatine, stevia and lemon or orange essence (a few drops, the essence does have alcohol + lemon or orange oil).

    Generally I make big bowl of this jelly and eat it. It keeps me incredibly full. Just wanted to know if this is okay? I use two tablespoons of gelatine and a litre of water. I have attached the link so you can see the nutritional data for the brand I buy. I am also not eating dairy or red meat for the attack phase. Just fish, eggs, gelatine, konjac noodles, herbs & spices.

    Is this all fine?

      Hi Aishah

      You are allowed 3 servings of sugar free jelly per day so it looks as if you might be eating more than recommended by Dr Dukan.

      You don’t have to eat any food you don’t like but Dr Dukan does heavily recommend the daily serving of oat bran. I’d recommend trying to eat as varied a diet as possible to maximize the vitamins a minerals you are getting.

    Hey, I was wondering do you have to do so much exercise and another question do you also have to include chicken, fish or meat in breakfast and another question are you allowed to eat fruits like apple, bananas, oranges,cherries etc. I am confused because I have been researching all night and I am not getting straight answers.

      It is recommended to do the exercise but not everyone is able to do the exercise. Just do as much as you can manage. No you don’t have to eat chicken, fish or meat for breakfast if you don’t want to but fruit other than rhubarb and goji berries aren’t added until the Consolidation phase.

      You need to have an understanding of the Diet as you can’t follow it just using recipes, you need to understand what you are doing. If you can’t find a book you are going to need to carry out some research and read sites like mine to build up your knowledge of the diet. I am happy to help with any questions you might have.

    I’m an avid fan of the Dukan (and your site) but am now fed up of my mean day (protein only Thursday) breakfast. I have smoked mackeral with scrambled eggs. What do others have for breakfast?

      It is good to hear from you again. My favourite breakfasts which can also be light lunches are in no particular order
      Boiled eggs with chicken breast or ham soldiers
      Herby omelette
      Ham omelette
      Cottage cheese in a folded omelette
      Poached eggs on ham
      Cottage cheese on ham
      2 yogurts
      Cottage cheese by itself
      Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon
      Oat bran porridge (sometimes sprinkled with a little cinnamon)
      and of course the famous Dukan galette which can be eaten sweet or savoury.

      Depending on what I’m eating I’ll often start with a 0% plain Actimel drink and of course I always finish with a mug of tea.

      There are a number of different things that could be causing your bloating and here is a link to an article that might help.

      Apart from the 5 common cause the article lists another common problem can be water retention however I’d recommend having a word with your doctor to make sure there is no underlying health condition such as ovarian cysts causing the problem before trying to tackle the problem yourself.

  • You need to stock up on all the foods, drinks and ingredients that you will need to successfully follow your diet.  Remember that there are many sources where you can find different recipes for your diet.
