    Hi,

I am abt to enter cruise phase. I know the oat bran is 2 tbs but is that mean the quark is also 2 tbs or retain at 1.5 tbs?

      Hi Nor

You can adapt the recipe or use the additonal oat bran elsewhere.

      Thanks

      Amber:)

      Hi Vanessa

This one will be fine. Dr Dukan pushes a specially milled version but any oat bran will do.

      Take care

    Hi
I am just starting the diet, I am on day 4 of the Attack phase, about to start the cruise phase on Saturday (first day of vegetables, hooray!)
However, I really want to eat veg again on Tuesday. Does Dukan ever allow you to swap your PP and PV days around or does it have to be strictly alternate?

    • Amber on June 18, 2015

      Hi Vanessa

Yes you can swap your days around, just do 2 days PP (Wednesday and Thursday) after your addtional PV Tuesday and you’re back on track.

      Best wishes

      Amber:)

Hi Im currently in Antigua and cant find fromage frais, what can I use as a substitute. Also is 360 degees here the same as 180 degrees in UK?

    Thanks

I am a little confused. I see how NOT eating oat bran can slow down the rate of weight loss, but why does eating a bit more than recommended in each phase ALSO slow down the rate of weight loss.

I am enjoying the oat bran and I am in the Cruise phase, but I probably eat about between 2 1/2 and 3 Tbls each day.

Am I really hurting my own efforts? Should I be more restrictive about what I am eating until I get into Consolidation?

    Thank you for your help.

      Hi Cassie

The oat bran helps to keep you satisfied and on track as well as helping to prevent constipation. However it has a high carb content so if you over do the amount eaten the negatives start to out weigh the positives. If you are losing weight on the amounts eaten I see no reason for you to make any adjustments.

      Kind regards

      Amber:)

How do you get the oat bran ration if you can’t eat dairy products?

    • Amber on February 23, 2014

      Hi Pat

If you can’t eat dairy you can have soy milk and yogurt. So you could have it as porridge with soy milk or sprinkled on soy yogurt. Other ways to have the oat bran would be as a coating on chicken or in a meat loaf.

      Kind regards

      Amber:)
