Dukan Diet Cruise Phase Recipe: Dukan Diet Cheatcake
If you have read some of my other posts you have probably already worked out that I have a weakness for sweet things. I’ve avoided giving another chocolate recipe (although I have given a chocolate variation to the recipe just in case you’re a chocoholic like me!) What I love about the Dukan Diet is that you don’t have to go without foods like this and this is why the diet is so easy to follow.
If you are hoping that my Dukan Diet Cheatcake will taste like real cheesecake I’m afraid that I am going to have to disappoint you, but it is a reasonable substitute which tastes great and can be made in next to no time if you have some Fast and Easy Ginger Dukan Biscuit already baked. If you can use an egg ring to make your ginger biscuit, so that you can use the ring as a mold for your cream cheese mix.
In the UK version of the Dukan Diet cream cheese is not one of the fat free/low fat dairy products that are allowed as part of the daily 1kg allowance so this is best made using cream cheese as your two daily tolerated items to help maximize weight loss. In the UK Philadelphia extra light is 4.7% fat.
In the US you can buy fat free cream cheese and it is one of the fat free/low fat dairy products that make up part of the daily allowance so you can afford to be more generous with the amount of cream cheese you use in the recipe.

Instead of lemon essence and lemon zest add 1 teaspoon of reduced fat, no sugar added, cocoa powder and 3 drops of vanilla essence.
